MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) is the industry-standard rating system used to measure the effectiveness of air conditioner filters. Ratings for residential and commercial AC filters typically fall between MERV 5 and MERV 16. Filters with higher MERV ratings remove more particles and allergens than lower-rated filters. The American Lung Association recommends using at least a MERV 8 filter. People who suffer from asthma and allergies should use a higher quality MERV filter, at least MERV 11.

Merv 11 media is an electrostatic blend of synthetic fibers that are designed for use specifically in extended surface pleated filters. From the material point of view, efficiency and resistance are two contradictory requirements. Either high efficiency and high resistance, or low efficiency and low resistance. However, Merv 11 rated electrostatic media avoids this contradiction, ensuring high efficiency and excellent low resistance. Also, Merv 11 media rated electrostatic media has a large dust holding capacity, which is mainly to absorb dust to the maximum extent and extend the lifetime of the pleated air filter. Merv 11 rated electrostatic media is made of specific fiber and specific equipment, and the electrostatic lifetime can up to 3 years. All materials must be tested by professional testing equipment during the production process, such as weight, air permeability, efficiency, resistance, etc.

There are 8 electrostatic cotton material lines, 12 melt-blown lines, 2 supporting material lines, and 2 electrostatic supporting material lines. And Srilan also has 6 slitting lines to meet different kinds of width requirements.

There are 5 TSI8130, TSI8130A testing equipment, which can perform accurate flow control, resistance, efficiency tests to ensure product quality.
